Meet Steve Jegier

Steve Jegier is a retired CSO/CMO executive now advising companies on organizational leadership and business transformation.  Over his 20-year career as Executive Vice President with Wells Fargo, Steve was Head of Strategic Consulting & Initiatives for the Consumer Bank, Head of Strategy for the Wealth & Investment Management division, and Chief Operating Officer for the Asset Management business.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2003, Steve co-founded Market Velocity, a start-up e-commerce inventory management services software company.  Before this venture, Steve conceived, built and led the Small & Medium Business division for Lexmark International, after serving as their Global Chief Marketing Officer.  Prior to that, Steve was a Marketing Director with Glaxo SmithKline in the U.S. and Europe.  He began his career as a Strategic Consultant with Accenture.

Steve earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Marketing and Management of Organizations from the Columbia Business School. He also participated in the Executive MBA program at the London Business School.

An Eagle Scout, Steve has continued to support the Boy Scouts throughout his life and is currently the President and Chair of the Executive Board for Mecklenburg County Council in North Carolina, and serves in various other roles at the regional and national level. He also founded a needs-based Eagle Scout scholarship at the University of Notre Dame.

Steve lives in Charlotte with his wife Michelle; they have five children living in various locations around the country.
