Our Fundamental Approach

Whether you are starting up a new team/function, inheriting and redesigning an existing team, or resetting a dysfunctional team, our approach uses both individual person and collective team techniques to ensure a fast path to “Performing” status. 

Specifically, we provide a “whole brain” approach to ensure the full engagement of all team members –
individually, and collectively – to accomplish the objectives of the organization.  Each half of the brain must be coordinated and optimized to ensure top performance of each team member.  Most companies focus on what they can see (rational) and often overlook what they cannot see (emotional) – which is actually more important in the long term – driving engagement, job satisfaction, and loyalty.

Strengthening Team & Interpersonal Dynamics

The foundation of our approach leverages the power of the Enneagram to reveal insights into individuals and their motivators – to improve not only how they interact with others, but also how they function together as a group.

Our Approach

Most of our engagements start with each team member (including the leader) completing the Enneagram process – which includes a 20-30 minute questionnaire, and resulting 49-page detailed report on what their responses reveals about their personality.  We then follow up with a one-hour coaching session, to help interpret the results and provide feedback and guidance on what it means for them – personally as well as professionally. Once each team member has completed their coaching session, we then hold a team offsite to collectively review the results and discuss the team’s group and interpersonal dynamics.  In additional to greater insights and understanding of each other, the group will walk away with a number of specific tactical opportunities to improve team functionality and – importantly – individual team member engagement and satisfaction.
